A woman who tried to flee from the scene of a 5-car crash in North Port was arrested, thanks to witnesses who chased her down.
Police say 27-year old Kristan McKinney hit a truck with her vehicle, which then crossed a median and hit another car head-on. Two other cars were also involved.
Witnesses told police McKinney was driving at a high rate of speed and ran a red light before the crash. Police say the car she was driving had also been reported stolen.
She now faces a long list of charges including grand theft auto.
