North Port Friends of Wildlife will sponsor a presentation by Foresters of the Florida Forest Service tomorrow at 6pm at the North Port Library. Discussions will include the history, wildlife and plant diversity and management practices of the Myakka State Forest.The 85-hundred acre Myakka State Forest is located on the southwestern boundary of Sarasota County and is a part of the City of North Port’s public recreational lands. The North Port Library is located at 13800 Tamiami Trail.
