While other parts of the country are expected to see elevated wildfire risks throughout the year, it appears to be good news for those of us in southwest Florida. The National Interagency Fire Center’s four-month outlook showed high fire risks out west- from California to Utah- but after a brutal start to the summer, is predicting below-normal danger for nearly all of Florida from now through August.
