Englewood Pioneer Day Parade is back for its 65th season and  is set to kick off on Monday, September 4th. WENG Radio will provide live coverage. Ken Birdsong will bring you all the live color!The 2023 Pioneer Day Parade will start at 9 am, featuring a shorter route due to the heat. The staging area will be at the shopping center in the 200 block of S. Indiana Avenue. Families and participants unable to walk a longer route can join the parade at Old McCall Road and West Dearborn Street, which ends at the Old Florida Outdoor Center and Gallery in the 400 block of West Dearborn Street.

The parade will include a Color Guard, Lemon Bay High School Band, and various entries, such as the Knights of Columbus, Viva Divas, Grace Community Church, and more. Families are encouraged to decorate bikes, golf carts, and bring pets.

The Family Festival at Pioneer Plaza (325 W. Dearborn Street) will follow the parade, offering food vendors and entertainment on the Dignam Family Stage.
