Nine out of 10 people who attended the Englewood Beach Waterfest said the experience met or exceeded their expectations. The Sun reports that’s one of the findings of a survey done by the Englewood Chamber of Commerce. Among other results, more than one-third of those taking the survey live outside of Englewood, 26 percent of business owners responding said they saw an increase in business, eight out of 10 said Waterfest did not inconvenience their normal day, nine percent said they would never attend a Waterfest event and 10 percent said they would attend, as long as there aren’t any boat races.
