Thousands of people are expected along the coast in Englewood Beach this weekend for Waterfest.
A Block Party on Dearborn Avenue in Englewood kicks things off from 5pm to 9pm tonight.
The offshore boat racing gets underway at 11am on both Saturday and Sunday.
The weekend festival will also feature food, music, exhibits including a butterfly exhibit and a family conservation center.
Paddlefest did have to be canceled because of red tide.
