The City of Venice Utilities Department will be busy this week with several projects involving valve/hydrant replacement. The work will cause intermittent water outages. Starting tomorrow, the area affected will be the 1100 Block of Lakes of Capri and 927 to 935 Capri Isles Blvd. Wednesday, the area affected will be 603, 605, 609, 613, 614, Laguna Dr., from Bayshore Circle to all of Bayshore Dr. Also, all of the north side of Baycrest Dr. Thursday and Friday they will work on the Bay Indies from Antigua Ave. to Zacapa Ave. None of the above areas listed are under a water boil, but outages are expected intermittently. However, tomorrow there is a water boil advisory for San Marco Dr., Piazza Di Luna, parts of Fiesole St., Serata St. and Riviera St. from San Marco Dr. to Fiesole St., as well as 805 Riviera Street. These areas will be required to boil water for 72 hours.
