After 43 years in business, Venice’s Dome Flea Market is closing its doors for good. The property along State Road 776 has been purchased by the gas station chain RaceTrac. Most of the vendors talked to the Herald-Tribune about the sense of community that developed around the Dome over the years, and said they were hoping to find a new spot. No dates for construction of the gas station have been announced. The flea market’s last day will be July 16th.
