Two women were injured after a crash on Englewood Road in Sarasota County on Monday. Police say an elderly Venice woman turned in front of a Ford F-350 near the intersection with Loyola Road around 5 o’clock Monday night. The unidentified 79-year old woman was driving east on Loyola and pulled out in front of a 20-year old Sarasota woman. Both were taken to area hospitals with serious injuries. No update was given on their conditions.
