Residents of a mobile home park in Venice have been fighting with the owner of that park about the condition of a damaged home that has been sitting, exposed to the elements and abandoned, since Hurricane Irma destroyed it a year ago.
One resident told ABC-7 that her big worry was the debris and loose furniture, that if another storm came, the leftover belongings would be projectiles that could cause big damage.
In a statement, Equity Lifestyle Properties, the company that owns Bay Indies Mobile Home Community, said they plan to remove the remnants of that home next week.
