ABC-7 reports that some residents of Venice caught a business dumping liquid into the canal near Gulf Coast Parkway and Groveland Avenue.
Residents claimed the workers in trucks from a Tampa-based company, VacVision, said ‘Don’t worry about it. It’s not going to hurt anything.’
The company claims workers were washing off the top of the rig and dumped water from a holding tank.
The county is now investigating, as some parts of the grass that were in contact with the dumped liquid have changed color.
