One day after the ACLU threatened action against Venice police after dashcam video showed them bodyslamming an unarmed suspect, police have now dropped all charges against the man.

The incident goes back to December 21st, when 46-year old John Fegley was accused of burglary by staff at a Motel 6.

Fegley, who was a guest at the motel, was confronted by police. Before he had a chance to respond to police commands, officers are seen grabbing him, taking his legs out from under him, and slamming him to the ground.

He had been charged with resisting arrest.
