All of Venice Myakka River Park is once again open after flood waters receded.
The back end of the park had been closed due to flooding for the better part of a week.
Yesterday, crews with Sarasota County Parks & Recreation lifted the barricades that had blocked the sidewalk and swept off the river sand that made its way onto the walkways.
Other parts of the park, including the kayak launch, remained open.
