There are some major changes in store for students at Venice Middle School when they return for classes. As part of a major remodeling project, the entire front office was rebuilt over the summer. The school added an extra layer of security at the office. Before, people could walk directly onto campus. Now, they’ll enter a holding room before being buzzed into the main school. Venice Middle is expected to see a near-record enrollment this year of around 700 students.
