A Venice man has been sentenced to 330 years in federal prison on charges of traveling with intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct and for possessing, receiving, and producing child pornography. A jury found 56-year old David Paul Lynch guilty in October after federal authorities discovered he had been travelling to the Philippines over an 11-year span to have sex with children and record the acts. The FBI searched his Venice home last year and found dozens of images and videos on various devices.
