The Florida Lottery has announced that a $500,000 winning ticket in last Friday’s Lucky Money game was purchased in Venice. Richard Moore, of Fredericksburg, Virginia, bought his Quick Pick ticket at the Publix at 345 Jacaranda Boulevard. Moore claimed the half-million dollar jackpot at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $364,656.80. The Florida Lottery says total ticket sales for that Lucky Money jackpot generated more than $258,000 dollars for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund.
