Starting next week, there will be 10 very special rocks hidden throughout Venice. A local artist painted the rocks with images including the city logo, the Jetties, water tower, shark’s tooth and more. Each rock will also feature the hashtag ‘#venicerocks’. If you find one, you don’t win a prize, though. Those that find the painted rocks are asked to post a picture on the city’s Facebook page, then re-hide it. The idea comes after North Port also recently hosted a rock hunting contest.
