Venice High School is adding water polo to their spring lineup starting this year. The team will be funded through the Southwest Florida Water Polo Foundation and the home games will be held at the Venice High pool. According to the Sarasota County School District, there are over 80 high school programs in the state of Florida. Students attending Pine View School, Sarasota Military Academy, and Suncoast Polytechnical High School may be eligible through the Sarasota County Athletic Choice Program.
