Nearly 70 miles of road has been newly resurfaced in Venice.
Last November, city residents approved an $18 million Road Bond Referendum to redo 70 miles of road in rough condition. City officials announced on Wednesday that that project- including sidewalk repairs- is now finished.
They say all curb ramps were also brought into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
