An important meeting is coming up this week, when the Venice City Council meets to discuss future spending on various projects.

In all, the city’s Capital Improvement Program would spend $121 million over the next five years.

Among the projects being considered are a $3.5M expansion of city hall, more than $6M in mobility fees on road projects, and more than $24M on various utility projects.

In addition, the council will go over requests from various city departments to include items in that five-year plan. That meeting is Wednesday at 9am.
