Two candidates running for the Seat 3 post on the Venice City Council hosted a forum Wednesday night at Waterford’s Sports Club.

Fred Fraize, the one-term incumbent, and Helen Moore, a five-year veteran of the Venice Planning Commission, spent almost an hour-and-a-half taking questions and laying out their views for the city.

The only topic both candidates avoided completely was the question of if the city needs affordable housing, where it should be, and if they would approve incentives to build such housing.
