Skydiving in Venice may soon be a thing of the past. City officials have asked the FAA to ban the activity after numerous jumps recently landed off airport grounds. One landed at Venice High School- more than a mile and a half away. Airport Director Mark Cervasion told ABC 7 even if skydivers made their way to the airport grounds, they weren’t landing in the landing zones. The city council will discuss the matter in its upcoming meeting next Tuesday.
