A recent ranking has identified Venice has one of the 50 most affordable small sunny towns in the country.
The site light-therapy.net has put Venice 16th in the nation with 266 sunny days annually.
It calls the city the right place “if you love perfect weather, wearing a swimsuit all year round and any water sports.”
The site describes Venice as a “palm-tree covered dream!”
It believes when “people think of quaint and peaceful parts of Florida,” they must imagine this town.
