Charlotte County Sheriffs Office warns in an increased activity in trailer theft. Thefts of trailers, including thefts of utility trailers and boat trailers have been seen in and around the Englewood area.
The office urges trailer owners to take all precautions necessary to secure and protect your property. Make sure you park your trailer in a well-lit area if possible, lock all doors on it if applicable, and block it in with your own (locked) vehicle when able. As always, report suspicious activity you may observe in your area.
