The highway patrol has identified the woman who died Monday on I-75.
It says a vehicle left the scene after hitting her on the southbound side five miles past Tuckers Grade.
The patrol has identified the woman as 28-year-old Sabrina Avrissaint of Fort Myers.
It says she walked in the lanes as a vehicle in the outside lane hit her.
Anyone with information on the driver or the vehicle should contact the highway patrol.
