The investigation into a string of vehicle burglaries that occurred on January 6th ended in the arrest of a suspect. 24-year-old Dillon Leslie of Port Charlotte, was arrested on several counts of burglary and theft after he entered victim’s unlocked vehicles to steal their belongings. People were investigating the area of Lion Terrace in Port Charlotte in reference to a vehicle burglary. While canvassing the neighborhood, three more vehicle burglaries were located on Clermont Street. Leslie was arrested on burglary to an unoccupied conveyance, petit theft, failing to register as a felon and two marijuana-related charges.
