The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds are coming back to Punta Gorda for November’s Florida International Air Show.

The Thunderbirds last stop in Charlotte County was rained out back in 2014.

Officials expect crowds upward of 40,000 to view the show this year.

The show has had to change a bit over the years, changing the flight path from going over populated areas and offer breaks in order for Allegiant to still get flights in and out.

The show in November will be the team’s only Florida air show performance this year.
