Update from Venice, Florida Municipal Government

WATER BEING RESTORED TO CITY OF VENICE CUSTOMERS
The City of Venice Utilities Water Treatment Plant has been reactivated and potable water service is being restored to all City of Venice customers. There still may be additional interruptions in service in order to repair utility damage, which will be noticed separately.
Water is also being restored to fire protection systems and hydrants.
Please note, all Venice water customers are under a boil water advisory until samples can be tested and cleared. All customers are required to boil water, or use bottled water, for drinking and cooking purposes until the boil water advisory has been rescinded after a minimum of 72 hours. Another advisory will be distributed once the water has been cleared for consumption.
Wastewater service is being restored as quickly as possible; however, it is contingent on power restoration. Please limit water usage to prevent wastewater overflows. If you would like to report damage or overflows, please call the Utilities Department at 941-480-3333. It is not necessary to report lift station alarms or water service disruptions.
We appreciate your patience as we work to repair our system.
