Two of the world’s largest ride-share companies are headed to Venice. New city regulations for Uber and Lyft drivers went into effect over the weekend, meaning drivers can pick up rides and riders will now have a new way to get around. Drivers will only have to pass state regulations, rather than previously planned additional local restrictions. City Public Information Officer Lorraine Anderson told ABC-7 people have been asking for the services- both drivers and riders alike.
