An arrest was made of a Punta Gorda man Tuesday after his two-year-old daughter almost drowned in a lake. The accident happened at Sven Palms Apartments on Slash Pine Circle. The girl was found and removed from the water by a neighbor who performed CPR. The adults in charge said the child left the apartment when they were sleeping. The Punta Gorda Police Department says it is not the first time the child had somehow left the residence without the parents knowledge. Davis and Bethanee Greene were questioned, with Davis the only one of the two who was arrested.
