A man was ejected from his vehicle as part of a two-car crash in Venice Sunday. U.S. 41 was closed between Gulf Coast Blvd. and Laurel Avenue after two cars traveling northbound crashed and each overturned. The man who was ejected was taken to Sarasota Memorial Hospital by Bayflite with unknown injuries. The stretch of the road that was affected was closed for nearly four hours.
