Two Suspects Arrested for Grand Theft at Port Charlotte Gas Station
Port Charlotte, FL – January 12, 2025 — Around 4:00 a.m. on Sunday, January 12, two suspects were apprehended following a grand theft incident at the Daybreak Gas Station, located at the intersection of Cochran Blvd. and Veterans Blvd.
According to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO), a juvenile male, Brayden Maxemovich (born 06/08/2009), and an adult male, Jason Thibeault (born 09/16/1972), were involved in stealing approximately $1,500 worth of vape products. The suspects allegedly distracted the clerk on duty before committing the theft.
Both individuals were caught shortly after the incident and are currently being interviewed by CCSO detectives. Authorities indicate that additional charges may be forthcoming as the investigation continues.
