North Port Police this morning are continuing to investigate what caused a head-on crash that killed two people Monday night.
Around 730, the accident happened on River Road near East River Road.
57-year old Kimberly Sobczak of Englewood and 56-year old Thomas Thole of Rotonda West were both pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are trying to determine if drugs or alcohol played any role in the crash.
