Two businesses in Charlotte County were cited after clerks unknowingly sold alcohol to minors that were working with the sheriff’s office.
The Juvenile Unit went out on Saturday to seven area stores for an enforcement sweep and compliance check.
Five of the seven passed- two did not.
In one case, a clerk at Paris Convenience Store was arrested. Another clerk at a S. McCall Road Mobil station was issued a notice to appear.
