A drug bust conducted by the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office has led to the arrest of two men. A release from the sheriff’s office says a series of undercover drug buys led detectives to recover more than 67 grams of Carfentanil, a synthetic opioid 10,000 times more powerful than morphine. On four separate occasions in March and April, police successfully bought heroin from 23-year old Michael Sandusky and 29-year old Michael White. At Sandusky’s home, police found marijuana and a large amount of heroin. He had been arrested 7 other times in Sarasota County for various crimes. Both face a list of felony drug charges.
