Police have arrested two people who were involved in a fight in North Port over the weekend.

26-year olds Danielle Daniels and Ellis Brummel have each been charged with felonies for Aggravated Battery, Assault and Tampering with Evidence.

Sunday night, police stopped a car at Price and Cranberry Boulevards after witnesses reported seeing the pair leave the scene of the fight.

In that incident, police say a gun was fired and a baseball bat was used on the two victims.
