A commercial fisherman freed a loggerhead sea turtle from a fishing hook on the Venice pier Monday. The situation started when the turtle chomped the hook of a fisherman and several people nearby noticed the problem. Austin Selby then decided to jump in the water and try to help the turtle free. At last check, the turtle was back in the water and free of injury.
