Another suspect is brought in by officers in connection to the theft of weapons and equipment from a Sarasota County Sheriff’s cruiser, Monday night in North Port. A sniper rifle was among the stolen weapons. James Tolbert of North Port faces charges of possession of the officer’s handgun and selling it. His arrest follows David Byrd’s in the case. Tolbert is being held on a $22,500 bond.
