Three people were injured and a dozen were involved in a Sunday afternoon boating accident in Sarasota County.
Police say the two boats collided south of the Stickney Point Bridge around 2pm yesterday.
Of the 12 people that were aboard both boats, three were rushed to Sarasota Memorial Hospital with various injuries. Officials say both boats were between 20-27 feet in size.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
