Three men have been arrested after they were caught on camera stealing fishing equipment from West Marine in Sarasota. The equipment is valued at over $800. Police were called to the property around 2:30 Tuesday afternoon on a theft call. It was then when the manager explained that the merchandise was stolen by one of the three men. The suspect then jumped into a van and left the scene, but the manager was able to get the license plate number. Police found the suspects on Interstate 75 and made a traffic stop near Laurel and Pinebrook in Nokomis. Police matched 31-year-old Keith Gordon to the surveillance video and charged him with grand theft. The two other man in the van were each charged with principle to grand theft.
