A string of car burglaries had the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office busy for the recent past, but three arrests have been made and charges have been filed. The three suspects are all 21 or younger and are accused of burglarizing around 30 vehicle burglaries throughout the county. 18-year-old David Schwerha, 17-year-old Christopher Dumont, and 21-year-old Christopher Lemachener have all been charged with burglary and fraudulent use of credit cards that were stolen during the burglaries. Schwerha was arrested on Lexington Drive in Parrish, caught red-handed by the police. The information police were able to squeeze out of him led to the arrests of the other two men.
