A student who made a bomb threat back on April 7th at The Academy School was arrested, according to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office reports. It started with written threats in one of the boy’s bathrooms, which led to some parents keeping their kids home from school the next day. Monday, more of the same was discovered in the same boy’s bathroom in building A on campus. It appeared to be written by the same individual. The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 15-year-old named Kenneth Kasten of Port Charlotte. The charge was making a false bomb threat, which is a felony.
