The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office is reporting the accidental shooting death of a 15-year-old boy. It happened Thursday night in Myakka City when the boy was trying to get some animals off his property and he ended up shooting himself. Emergency personnel arrived and went through life-saving procedures, but were unable to save the boy. The weapon that was found on scene was a handgun.
