A study done by WalletHub ranks Florida in the bottom half of the best states to raise a family- 32nd overall. WalletHub said they ranked states in 42 key indicators of family-friendliness. They used everything from a median family salary to housing affordability to the unemployment rate. Florida’s best rank comes in family fun, at 10th overall. But the state was at the bottom for the least affordable housing, the nation’s 3rd highest divorce rate, and being the state wih the second fewest amount of families with young kids.
