The newest member of the Florida House is already at work. State Rep Margaret Good was in Sarasota over the weekend, hosting a town hall on gun violence and gun reform before a crowd that numbered in the hundreds. Good said immediate change is necessary, especially in light of House Republicans rejecting a motion last week to even take up debate on an assault rifle ban. While many in crowd were on Good’s side of gun control legislation, other fell in line with -among others- House Speaker Richard Corcoran, who has proposed arming teachers.
