The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office says it will be joining with the Florida Highway Patrol and The Office of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles to step up efforts during Spring Break relating to the enforcement of Driving Under the Influence laws and other motor vehicle related offenses. Law Enforcement Officials encourage you to “Arrive Alive” and enjoy your Spring Break. Your first step to “Arrive Alive” is to drive sober. The sheriff’s office says you risk more than just your life when you decide to drive drunk. Impaired driving puts the life of everyone on the roadway in jeopardy.
