Police in Punta Gorda are urging anyone who may have bought gas at the Mobil/Circle K gas station on Tamiami Trail to check their debit or credit cards.
Pump technicians on Tuesday found card skimming devices on a pair of the station’s gas pumps.
A new law starting next week requires all Punta Gorda gas pumps to have a secondary lock to prevent skimming devices being installed.
