A drug bust at an Englewood home this afternoon lands six people in jail.
The raid at the 1640 Mel-O-De Lane home was the result of a weeks-long investigation conducted by the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit.
Investigators say Opiates, prescription drugs and methamphetamine were recovered.
The six people are at the Charlotte County Jail for processing.
According to the Sheriff’s office this is the second time in less than a year that a search warrant for drugs was served at the home.
