Police in Broward County have found a woman who was named in a Silver Alert safe and sound. 73-year-old Iona Velivis of North Port was last seen at her home on Huntington Street about 1 p.m. Tuesday. She suffers from early onset Alzheimer’s. Wednesday morning, police spotted her red 2009 Jeep driving on I-75 in Broward County. She was returned back to her home later in the day.
