The Siesta Key Chamber of Commerce is looking for volunteers to hand out trash bags to visitors and guests over the upcoming July 4th weekend. After a Memorial Day that saw a trashed beach go viral, they’re now working to keep trash off the beach and out of the water. Volunteers are only asked for an hour or so of their time on July 1st, 2nd, or on the 4th itself. Anyone interested is asked to contact the Chamber.
